This past Saturday I got to attend a close family friend’s engagement party. Deemed the “master of the BBQ”, I got to cook up a storm for the family and show off my BBQ’ing skills. Now, everyone should know that the BBQ is a very special sight at parties. In fact, when turned on, it seems as though every man holding a cold one will gather around it (although I don’t know how good of an idea that is).

Having gone to many-a house showing off my BBQ’ing, I noticed that no one really has adequate BBQ tools, though. It seems everyone takes whatever they have kicking around in the kitchen, but never has an exclusive BBQ tool set. In fact, even when I was looking online today for a BBQ set, it seems most of them are out of stock, or insanely expensive.

Still, here’s today’s idea: build your own ultimate BBQ set. That’s right – you can buy these inky-dinky 3-piece BBQ sets, buy one that costs just as much as my phone plan every month, or go to the local store and pick up the tools yourself. From my experience in BBQ’ing, you should make a set that looks something like this (too bad it’s out of stock right now, or it’d be the perfect gift!). To wrap it? Get a small case, a big tupperware container, or even in something that they can use to put the freshly cooked food in after they’re done cooking it!
