My dad and I enjoy spending time with each other when we’re building IKEA furniture. I know, I know – that sounds weird. Something about the flow we have when we work on furniture is very methodical and we both love it. It’s when I realized that, for my dad at least, tools are such a stereotypical and good idea for father’s day. Keep in mind, though, that my dad is a mechanic. For him, tools are always nice, but at the same time he has a few toolboxes (and cases) sitting around.
For the father that’s always at the hardware store looking for a new tool or anything else, you should check out this toolkit that sports 115 pieces to it. It’s a little on the pricier side ($50 even with 50% off), but the stools are very standard and handy. If you’re not an only child, why not split it with the siblings?
