New to the Gaucho Savings Stream? That’s cool. Lots of people are. We just opened up some of our doors to the public, but we have many more good things in store.

At the moment, we’re pretty happy that the main feature of Gaucho — the Gaucho Savings Stream — is alive and kicking. In fact, we’ve had a bunch of new visitors in the past 24 hours, mostly due to all the awesome #BlackFriday deals we’ve been finding and tweeting about. Now that people are scoping out what we call the GSS, we thought we’d take a minute to explain a little more.

Find Deals, Share the Steals

Stamps are how we share deals. See, Gaucho is a savings-inspired micro-blogging platform for sharing deals and savings money. Without all the spam and nonsense. Just real people and real savings. Post a Stamp,

Here’s the Deal

Literally. What are you looking for a deal on? Clothes, sporting goods, electronics, HDTVs, Apple gear, shoes … what? Because we probably have a deal you can use. Search the GSS, or use the colored icons at the top of the stream to filter by category.

Help Out

The more you contribute, the better Gaucho will be. So, if you don’t see the deal you’re looking for, then let everyone know when you score that sweet deal by coming back and posting a Stamp. You’ll earn GauchoPoints (we’ll explain more about that in a later post) and you’ll be helping others like yourself. Right now, everyone’s looking for good deals and ways to save money. Especially with the holidays coming up. By working together we can all save a little more and make a buck go a little further.

Post a Stamp

If you’d like to contribute a Stamp, that would be super awesome. FYI: there are 7 different kinds of Stamps. Just pick the Stamp that fits your deal or tip the best.

• Sale or Deal - For general sales and deals.
• Grocery or Drugstore Deal – You got it. For grocery store and drugstore deals and sales.
• Free Shipping – Promos for free shipping, or free shipping with a minimum purchase.
• Coupons – Share discount codes or coupon codes that you might find in email ads, websites, tweets, and so on.
• Free Stuff - Contests, giveaways, and free products or services.
• Personal Sale – List something that you are selling yourself. Link to an eBay listing.
• Savings Tip – Share a savings suggestion, insight, article, tip, or link to, say, a blog post you wrote about the best way to save money on your particular field or projects.
