What We're Looking For
We’re looking for writers that are enthusiastic, fun-loving, and that enjoy saving. With a little tooth-in-cheek sort of fun, we hope to create a stronger readership that promotes our brand values.
In essence, we’re looking for articles that you think our readers will be interested in. Our users are generally from the United States in California, and are English-speaking. Since our readers come from all ages and walks of life, we want our articles to reflect that in being widely focused.
Here’s some analytic stats on our readers that might aid in your writing:
- Generally, our readers spend 3:00 on any given page,
- Generally, our readers visit 2-3 pages per visit to our site

What's In It For Me?
We like win-win partnerships, and we want to make things work between us. By writing for the GauchoBlog, you’ll be promoting your services and yourself through article author blurbs and bios that attach your social media information and website.
A reference letter from the GauchoBlog editor will look pretty snazzy on your resume as well!

Great – Where Do I Sign?
No signing! Make sure you check out the Frequently Asked Questions and read the attached Brand Guide. Then send us some article ideas (titles and a brief one-line description will do fine). Don’t worry – we’re not going to take them. We’ll hold onto them for you so two people don’t write the same article. It also shows us your commitment level.
If you have ideas or question for anything else blog-related, please feel free to send that to us as well!

Frequently Asked Questions
What length do my articles need to be?
We look at quality over quantity. While most articles average anywhere between 750 and 2000 words, we know that different topics may take different lengths to get the point across. Rest assured that if the article is too long or short we will tell you where to expand, and where we think "fluff" can be taken out!
What commitment do I have to put down?
This is the great part – there is no time commitment.
What about deadlines?
We don't like deadlines anymore than anyone else. Unfortunately, though, to keep things organized we must have certain deadlines. We set deadlines based on your schedule just as much as ours, and try be as flexible as possible. We will set deadlines.
Will I be compensated for my work?
We wouldn’t have the blog without our writers. That's why we’re paying writers. However, payment is decided on an article-by-article basis and is dependant on quality. So make sure you send in your best work!
Do I have to be a member of the Gaucho.com community?
While you aren't required to be an active part of the GauchoBlog community, it is suggested that you do. We have other opportunities within the community as well that you may be interested in as an active writer. Ask for more details!
Can I repost these articles on my blog?
As we are paying for articles, we do not allow writers to repost articles to their blog or use them, or the content within them, anywhere else. We do encourage promotion of articles within your networks, however. If you would like to post an article on your blog talking about the article and what you talked about in it providing a link to it on Gaucho, that is fine as well.
How will I be compensated?
At this time, we make payments solely through PayPal in U.S. dollars. Gaucho.com is not liable for any fees incurred through payment via PayPal.
